Early Childhood Education Degree Program Highlights
Give children a great start in life with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
Our Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education program prepares students to make a lasting impact in the lives of young children. Through a blend of classroom theory, hands-on experience, and a focus on child development, this program equips future educators with the skills and knowledge to foster learning, growth, and emotional well-being in children. This program does not lead to elementary (K-8) certification. If you are interested in K-6 teacher preparation, and live in Michigan, consider the Bachelor of Science Elementary Education program.

- Students will engage with a diverse curriculum, covering areas like curriculum design, assessment, child psychology, and inclusive teaching practices, while also gaining practical experience through internships and fieldwork.
- Graduates will be ready to pursue careers as preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary educators, making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
