Description
The Baker College of Owosso Student Nurses’ Association vision is to promote nursing students and nursing education, and to develop leadership, professionalism, and community awareness within the organization’s members. BCSNA is the focal point at Baker College of Owosso for providing nursing students information, resources, opportunities, and mentorship that will cultivate their nursing abilities and promote their growth into future registered nurses.

How to Get Involved
Candidates shall be chosen from among those members who have been nominated by the constituent according to the procedure outlined in the bylaws. Officers elected will serve in this office throughout their nursing program. All candidates must be current members of the BCSNA, which active membership shall be until the member completes the nursing program at this college. Meeting times are monthly during school semesters, lasting around one hour each meeting. All elected members also volunteer their time to help with new nursing student orientation and the nursing pinning ceremony each semester.

In 2023, BCSNA from Owosso had three student delegates at NSNA conference
Hold annual blood drive at Owosso campus
Attend American Red Cross fundraiser Camel Races
Held events promoting Gift of Life and NMDP, formerly known as the National Marrow Donor Program and Be The Match.
