Movement Matters Club
Description
Mission – Perform weekly meetings with intentional education of common walking and jogging injuries that end with movement.
Purpose – Create an environment for education on fitness and health to thrive.
Main activities – Weekly wellness walks, 10-15 min education pieces on common injuries, and collaboration with other clubs to include wholistic view on wellness.

How to Get Involved
All students are welcome to join our weekly walks on campus that are predetermined week zero of each semester. To help in the club and become a member contact Samantha Simonetti for further details and needs for the organization.
Awards and Achievements
- Walked over 400 miles as an organization
- Provided multiple learning opportunities on footwear, ankle injuries, common knee injuries, and appropriate stretching techniques
- Collaborated with a yoga instructor and been to a campus yoga room session
