2025 Commencement Information
Ceremony Begins at 1 p.m.
Pre-Event: Doors open at 11 a.m.
Your family and friends can join you in a Pre-ceremony Celebration in the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center, adjacent to the Trinity Health Arena. Light refreshments will be provided. Opportunity for check-in, professional photo, and fun family photo areas.
Line up will begin 45 minutes before the ceremony.
For parking lot options that are in close proximity to the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center and Trinity Health Arena, refer to the parking map.
There is a clear bag policy in place for everyone’s safety and security. You may bring one clear bag that does not exceed 12”x6”x12”. Exceptions to this policy include diaper bags and bags due to medical necessity.
Your family and friends can share in the excitement even if they cannot attend the ceremony. The Baker College 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be livestreamed on the Baker College YouTube channel at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Graduation Application
Students who anticipate completing their program requirements for degrees or certificates and have not already submitted a graduation application should do so by the first week of their final semester.
To have your name included in this year’s commencement program, you must submit your application for graduation by March 28, 2025.
Diplomas
Your diploma should arrive approximately 8 weeks after your final semester ends. You can also order your official transcripts any time on the Registrar Page at my.baker.edu.
Ordering Graduation Items
Cap and gown can be purchased through the Barnes and Noble (BN) Bookstore. The link to the ordering website will be added to this page when ordering becomes available.
The last day to order to get your regalia in time for the event is April 11, 2025. [[Is this date correct?]]
After this date, caps and gowns may be purchased in the campus Barnes and Noble Bookstore nearest you until the Thursday before graduation.
Honor and recognition cords, for those who qualify, will be mailed directly to the home address that you have on file.
