BakerFaculty in the news: Chef Tom Recinella, CEC®, AAC®
Congratulations are in order for Baker College Dean of Culinary, Chef Thomas Recinella, CEC®, AAC®, on his most recent awards honor.
The Culinary Institute of Michigan leader has been selected as the 2021 Central Region recipient of the American Culinary Federation’s (ACF) Hermann G. Rusch Chef’s Achievement Award.
This award honors chefs who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to both ACF and the culinary profession. As noted by the ACF, such chefs have advanced the culinary profession and ensured the enrichment of students, members and those in the profession.
Chef Tom is one of four regional recipients. One chef will be named the national award winner at the ACF National Convention this August in Orlando, Fla.
Here’s to Chef Tom’s recognition, and we’re all wishing him much luck at the ACF Convention this August!
