Baker College President Dr. Bart Daig and Metro Campus President Dr. Pete Karsten have been honored by the Graystone Security and Protection Services Company with their Graystone ROA Lifetime Member Award.
Since its founding in 1922, ROA has tirelessly advocated for Reserve and National Guard members and their families. ROA has a long list of accomplishments, fulfilling its Congressional charter to promote the development and execution of a military policy that will provide adequate national security. Becoming a ROA Life Member is the ultimate commitment to their cause.
The Graystone ROA Lifetime Member Award is an opportunity for Dr. J. R. Taylor, President of Graystone Security and a Lifetime Member of the Association, to recognize companies, organizations, and individuals that make an impact in the lives of veterans and their families.
Dr. Daig and Dr. Karsten have been honored with this award for their unwavering commitment to the military veteran community through the hiring of administrative staff and instructor personnel with veteran backgrounds and for the College’s diverse veteran student population.
