Baker College Disability Services Specialist Carol Boyer was honored with the Margaret A. Chmielewski Award from the Michigan Association on Higher Education and Disability.
Congratulations to Baker College team member, Carol Boyer, a Disability Services Specialist, who recently was honored with the Margaret A. Chmielewski Award from the Michigan Association on Higher Education and Disability (MI-AHEAD).
The award is given to a MI-AHEAD member who demonstrates outstanding leadership, a warm sense of humor, commitment, support of the disability community and the pursuit of personal development in postsecondary education.
Carol serves as a Disability Specialist for Baker College, working to provide equal access for students with disabilities. She is committed to creating an atmosphere of inclusion, which sees disability as a form of diversity that contributes to making Baker College a broader, richer community.
We are so proud of the work Carol is doing, and her recognition is well-deserved. All of Baker College’s students and staff are lucky to have her on our team!
